I found two half-cans of sealant left way back in my art cabinet, so I went ahead and redid Baha's face yesterday. Christmas is creeping closer and closer, and it just wouldn't do for him/her to look his/her best when I surprise my sister with him/her. (I don't know if my sis is going to want it to be a boy or a girl yet, so that's what's up with all the mixed pronouns). At my house, Baha is a girl... mostly due to complete and utter lack of boy clothing. My mother is supposed to be making some pants to match the freebie cape that came with the doll.
I tried to make it look as gender-neutral as possible, so I skipped the eyelashes. My sister tends to like her dolls having a less made-up look anyway. I managed to remove some of the yellowing as well, though the coloring is still more creamy than white. The arms and legs were hella kicky, so I did a quick sueding while the gloss on the face was drying. I've never seen S-hooks so small in my life...
As for website news, I got a few more pages up and running under the "Learn" tab :) Yay progress.
